I am Noam
A full-time Hebrew teacher helping adults around the world speak Hebrew with confidence.
I love Hebrew because, for me, it’s not just a language – it’s a connection.
To my family, to the place I live, to history, and to both ancient and modern texts. It’s a gateway to culture—and even as a native speaker, it never stops surprising me.
That love for Hebrew eventually became my profession. Today, I work as a full-time Hebrew teacher, and for more than seven years I’ve helped hundreds of students from around the world build confidence in speaking Hebrew. Before starting my own practice, I taught at some of Israel’s leading ulpanim and at Tel Aviv University’s Hebrew Program.
My fascination with languages started long before I became a teacher. During my military service, I studied Arabic and served as an Arabic translation specialist in the Israeli Intelligence (8200). Later, I studied Hebrew Language and Literature at Ben-Gurion University where I was also teaching Medieval Hebrew Poetry for one year. Along the way, I also published five books of Hebrew poetry and taught

My goal is to help my students use the language freely, and to love the process of learning!
Learning a new language as an adult is a unique challenge. It means repeating the same words again and again, making mistakes, and learning to feel comfortable with them.
Whether your goal is to feel more confident in everyday conversation, strengthen your grammar, or explore the richness of Hebrew through literature and authentic texts, I tailor every lesson to meet you where you are—and help you grow from there.
In my lessons, I create a space where you can explore Hebrew through conversation, questions, and real-life practice, where mistakes are not just accepted, but seen as a natural part of learning.
Because even with imperfect grammar or a missing word, we can still communicate, understand one another, and have meaningful conversations.
If you’re a more advanced learner, we’ll go beyond conversation. We’ll read books and articles, discuss podcasts and current events, watch authentic Hebrew content, expand your vocabulary, and deepen your understanding of both the language and Israeli culture.
