Noam's Hebrew קפה-עברית-לוגו-2 Cafe Ivrit

What happens here?

Speak Only Hebrew!

ONLY HEBREW! The only way to become more fluent is to speak and speak and... speak! There are no shortcuts here. But that's precisely why we are here!
Trust us, we have our ways to make sure that you don't use any other language but HEBREW (Nothing illegal, we promise)

Meet other learners

Connect with a diverse community of Hebrew learners from around the world. Share experiences, exchange tips, and support each other on your language-learning journey. Learning together is a great motivation to keep exploring the beauty of Hebrew alone and together.

Learn new vocabulary

Expand your vocabulary and ensure it sticks! Learning many words can feel exhausting, and often, they're forgotten too quickly. Cafe Ivrit is designed to expand your vocabulary and help you practice until it sticks.

Have Fun!

Learning a language can feel like a game, like a new adventure. You have the opportunity to explore new sounds and new cultures, and it's enjoyable! And if that's not enough, our event concludes with a game to add an extra element of fun and excitement!

Our next events focuses on:

Traveling

טיולים ונסיעות

Exploring new places, sharing travel experiences, the excitement of planning trips, and the contrast between our dreams and the reality of our journeys—let’s talk about it all, in Hebrew!

And then...

Food

אוכל ובישולים

Talking about favorite meals, exchanging cooking secrets, exploring the history of different cuisines, and the pleasures of cooking—let’s talk about it all, in Hebrew!

**Pay attention—this event is suitable for intermediate and advanced Hebrew speakers.**

If you are not sure about your level, please contact us and we can check it together.

How does it work?

When you arrive, you receive our “new vocabulary cards” –  which are divided into three mini-topics (and colors). Total of 12 new words.

After receiving the cards, you’ll start a conversation – in Hebrew – with fellow learners using our pre-made questions or just freely. To ensure the new words truly sink in and to conclude our evening, there will be a fun game to review and use what you’ve just learned again!

F.A.Q.

Here’s some more information. If you don’t find an answer to your question, don’t hesitate to send us a WhatsApp / email using the links below.

Great question! Cafe Ivrit is designed for intermmediate and advanced learners that want to improve their spoken Hebrew skills through active conversation.

The best way to become more fluent and more confident is to SPEAK. So if you can speak Hebrew and want to improve your fluency, this is the place for you!

If you are a beginner, you are welcome to join, but please note that active participation may be challenging at this level and it might be frustrating.

If you are not sure, you are more than welcome to contact us 🙂

Of course. Just click here!

Of course!

From our experience, people learn a lot in an Ulpan, but it is still hard to speak as long as the knowledge is in your head rather than your mouth. So here in Cafe Ivrit, you can use what you learned, enrich your vocabulary, and do it only in Hebrew and in an interactive way.

While we welcome learners and want everyone to be a part of Cafe Ivrit, it is tailored specifically for adults and not intended for children.

Well, it is up to you. You get to talk freely to people, so you can use the words and questions as a base and get the conversation in your preferred direction.

Besides, if your goal is to improve your Hebrew, here you have two whole hours to do so 🙂

And… you can always join our mailing list to receive information about our following events. Every event focuses on a different topic!

You don’t need to collect it. After buying the ticket, your name will appear on our list, and all you need is to show up 🙂 Also, you will receive a reminder email a few days before the event.

As we prepare a special kit for each attendee, you can receive a refund only if you cancel up to 48 hours before the event.

In case of an emergency, please contact us, and we will save you the ticket for our next event.

You can click on this link and pay with PayBox or click here to pay in another way.

If you are having trouble, contact me and I’ll be happy to assist.

We have limited seats, so we would recommend you buy in advance.  If you want to be spontaneous, you can contact us to check if tickets are still available.

Meet your host:

Hi, I'm Noam

I am a Hebrew teacher and love it!

During the years, I got to teach hundreds of students. I heard many individual stories that showed me that becoming a part of the local society by learning the language is a challenging journey.

As a teacher, I aim to make it easier and more enjoyable, so I opened Cafe Ivrit.

Besides teaching, I write poetry (and published four books in Hebrew), I always try new kinds of chocolates, and I enjoy looking for the best coffee in Tel Aviv 🙂
