Hebrew Conversation Groups
Want to practice speaking Hebrew in an affordable price? Join a small conversation group and get quality practice, 45 minutes a week. Build confidence through real conversations with fellow learners.

Why Join a Conversation Group?
You can learn Hebrew from books, at an ulpan, or even from apps – but to really speak Hebrew, you simply need to open your mouth and speak.
I see this all the time: students who know a lot of grammar, recognize tons of words, but when it comes time to speak, it doesn’t flow. There’s a gap between what’s in their head and what comes out of their mouth. And that’s completely normal – that’s how it always works. To create fluency in speaking, you need to practice speaking. Again and again and again.
In my private lessons, we practice it too, but I realized that there’s a need for something additional: a place where students can practice Hebrew together, without pressure, at an accessible price. There’s something special about practicing with other people at a similar level, and it gives you an opportunity to hear Hebrew from other people, not just from the teacher.
That’s why I opened the conversation groups: weekly sessions where students at a similar level meet for free conversation in Hebrew, practice, help each other, and build confidence together.
How Does it work?
Once a week, we meet on Zoom for 45 minutes of conversation in Hebrew. Spontaneous or guided conversation, where everyone participates and receives feedback from me and from other participants.
Topics vary according to the interests and level of the group – from everyday situations and current events to culture, literature, and anything else that sparks great conversation in Hebrew!

Advanced Level:
Comfortable speaking Hebrew in most situations and can follow conversations on various topics. The main goal here is improve your skills, work on nuances, and participate in deeper discussions.

FAQ
How many students are in each group?
Between 3-6 students. This ensures everyone gets plenty of speaking time while still enjoying the dynamics of a group.
What happens if I miss a class?
Life happens! If you miss a class, you can join a session on a space-available basis later on.
Is there homework?
Yes, after we learn new words in a session, I’ll send everyone a document with the words, and you can write a text in your own words that incorporates the new words.
Can I switch between levels?
Absolutely! If you feel a level isn’t quite right after trying it, you can switch to a different level.
What do I need for the class?
Just a computer or tablet with a good internet connection (phone is also possible but a screen where you can also see screen shares well is better), and a willingness to speak Hebrew! Zoom link will be provided after registration.
Is there a minimum commitment?
The trial class is just one session with no commitment. After that, the monthly package covers 4 weeks. If you want to continue, you can purchase another monthly package.
What if not enough people sign up?
I’ll only launch a group once there are at least 3 committed students. If a group doesn’t reach the minimum, I’ll let you know and we can discuss other options – either waiting for more students or exploring private lessons.
Can I do both private lessons and group classes?
Of course! Many students combine private lessons (for personalized focus) with group classes (for conversation practice). It’s a great way to accelerate your learning.
