Noam's Hebrew

Personalized Tutoring for All Levels

Get more confidence in Hebrew

With personalized one-on-one lessons that meet your level, goals, and learning style

Welcome to my private Hebrew classes! Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced learner, my personalized Hebrew lessons are designed to help you master the language. I offer flexible online Hebrew lessons to fit your schedule, interests and learning style.

We can meet online via Zoom or in person (in Tel Aviv or Givatayim) – at a café or even at your office.

My passion is helping people improve their Hebrew, and my goal is to ensure that each student sets the right learning objectives—both realistic and ambitious—so that their language-learning journey unfolds at the right pace.

What will you learn? It is up to you!

Spoken Hebrew

Practice conversations on daily topics such as ordering food, visiting the doctor, going to the bank, navigating the city, family, sports, and more!

Hebrew for all levels

From learning the Alphabet to deep philosophical conversations!

Literal Hebrew

In addition to being a Hebrew teacher, I hold a B.A. in Hebrew Literature and enjoy teaching Hebrew through literature.

Grammer

I love the Hebrew structure. It is truly amazing. For some people grammer is helpful, for others it is an 'allergy'. I incorporate grammar into lessons as needed or desired.

Reading & Writing

For fluent speakers, I offer courses focusing on reading and writing, including whole books in Hebrew, shoer stories, news articles, and more.

More

I love Hebrew and enjoy teaching biblical texts, poetry, stand-up comedy, or any other aspects of the language you wish to explore. Just ask!

Frequently Asked Questions

I offer 45-minute and 60-minute classes. If you need a longer session, we can discuss and decide together on a suitable duration.

Yes, I offer online lessons via Zoom and in-person lessons in Tel Aviv and Givatayim.

I teach all levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners.

We can discuss a schedule that best fits your goals and availability. I always say that learning a new language is like a “gym for your mind,” so starting with once a week is good, and twice a week is even better 🙂 It is up to your schedule, availability and budget.

For in-person lessons, bring a paper and pen. For online lessons, you’ll need a computer with a reliable internet connection. Feel free to bring any texts, songs, books, or topics you’d like to work on.

Yes, I assign homework to reinforce learning. But it is up to the students. Some pople are excited with homework, while others prefer to just practice speaking once a week and that’s ok too.
Sometimes, depends on your level, I recommend to purchase an Ulpan book. For online lessons, we use a shared document for it.

I don’t like to measure progress in time manners because each one has their own pace and circumstances that allow them to focus on Hebrew more or less. So I suggest focusing on personal day-to-day progress, fitting your goals to your availability and level, making sure that each session, each day, there’s something new that you know, rather than looking too far into the future.

I offer both private tutoring and group lessons. I also provide on-site teaching for companies with groups of employees.

I accept bank transfers, BIT/PAYBOX (Israeli payment apps), and credit cards.

Yes, I offer a 9+1 deal if you pay in advance for a package of 10 lessons.

I adapt my teaching methods to each student’s learning style, whether you’re a visual, auditory, or kinesthetic learner. We’ll discover what works best for you and adjust accordingly.

Absolutely! I can tailor our lessons to focus on specific areas of interest, including business Hebrew, literature and media, or any other specialized topics.

I have a BA in Hebrew literature and language. I’ve taught for many years, working with hundreds of students in various Ulpans in Tel Aviv, private groups, and individuals. Hebrew is my main focus of interest – grammatically, culturally, and creatively.

Yes, I offer a 20-minute trial lesson, available on Zoom only.
